SnapMirror -k (throttle) option work for snapmirror in a filer?

Hi, I have a quick question about  snapmirror -k option.

If I initialize snapmirror of volumes on different aggregates in a filer, -k option work? Expansion units are connected by fibre channels.

ex)

On a Filer_A:

vol create vol_src aggr1 100g

vol create vol_dest aggr2 100g

snapmirror initialize -k 25600 -S vol_src vol_dest

The -k option doesn't affect snapmirror speed in this case?

My ONTAP is 8.1.2 P4 7-mode

I checked this scenario on LabOnDemand env, and confirms that '-k' does not work.

Thanks for checking about the option. Then I'll not add -k option when run snapmirror initiallization in the same box.
