Snapmirror destination space is not increasing automatically

Hi,

Snapmirror destination space is not increasing automatically when source space is increased in and ideally destination space should increased as per the source volume.

It is a VSM relationship.

This is the reason why snapmirror is failing .

Any ideas anybody?

Need some more detail.  What is version of code

The source ONTAP version in 7.3.7P3 and destination version is 8.1.2P4

That's why I asked.

That feature isn't supported until 8.2.x in 7-mode

Your versions are VERY old.  You should be thinking about upgrading and migrating

we have all others filers with this latest ontap version only and never faced this issue in other relationships.

I do not know whther this truly is a ONTAP version issue.
