Stretched MetroCluster FAS31xx

A FAS31xx stretched MetroCluster requires a direct FC-VI connection between the two single controllers.

To be absolutely sure. I want to know if this direct FC-VI connection could go via a patch panel and still support a maximum of 500 meters?

Yes.  This is fine, as long as it's a straight-through patch panel, this is ok.
