The file access permissions do not all the specified action

Trying to export /vol/vol0/etc to an AIX host.

I get

# mount doaisdsan501-c2.state.mt.ads:/vol/vol0 /mnt
mount: 1831-011 access denied for doaisdsan501-c2.state.mt.ads:/vol/vol0/etc
mount: 1831-008 giving up on:
doaisdsan501-c2.state.mt.ads:/vol/vol0/etc

The qtree permissions are unix,

It is in the exports file

/vol/vol0    -sec=sys,rw=doaisd884.isd.doa.state.mt.us

What have I missed ?

Can filer resolve host name? Try using IP instead.

also, check that your vol0 security style is unix and not NTFS

The answer is using the ip address.
