Tiering on Thick prov

Does the Tiering  be used only on thin provisioned LUNs & volumes ?

Hi Saran,

Can you elaborate a little bit what do you mean by tiering in NetApp context?

I don't think thin vs. thick provisioning has any impact whatsoever on things like Flash Cache, Flash Pools, etc.

i mean the virtual storage tiering (VST) in netapp with the help of flash pool. Does the VST has difference between thick & thin prov volumes?
