What exactly does when you start the vol move on 7 mode?

Hi,

 

Would like to know What exactly does when you start the vol move on 7 mode?  Referring below output can someone help me to understand?

It starts a copy of the volume over to the other aggr, kinda like a snapmirror.  

 

The cutover part is it waiting for a pause in IO to grab the last bits before it offlines and removes the orgional one.
