You do not have access to share and yet permissions are set properly

I am getting an error to the effect "you do not have access permissions to this resource" when I try to connect to UNC share \\netappappliancename\sharename and yet when I verify the Share permission from the ONTAP manager, I have it as Everyone Full Control.

I ended up adding to the builtin\Administrators and was able to get to the folder.

You didn't say if you are 7-mode or CDOT, and since 90+% of our install base is CDOT, follow this KB: https://kb.netapp.com/Advice_and_Troubleshooting/Data_Storage_Software/ONTAP_OS/How_to_troubleshoot_File_Permissions_for_CIFS_access_denied

@paul_stejskal I followed the article instructions, and I can see the permissions are set correctly, the AD group is correct and I also see my admin account and yet I am getting access denied. Is there a way via CLI I can reset all of it to everyone read/write and bypass the AD credential checks?

I don't believe so, as it is required unless you set up local user. If the KB isn't working, please open a case. Perhaps one of our NAS folks may have suggestions.

Do you have any of the outputs from some of the commands in the KB?

I'd check out this KB as well, it has a few more things to check. If you're still having issues I'd suggest opening a support ticket.
