access to /etc/quotas on vFiler

Hi

I have root account on netapp 7-mode ontap and can access vFiler  using vFiler context filer_name command to see listed quotas.

I need to modify those quotas for the filer and here i have a problem, i'm not an admin in that domain configured for that vFiler and cannot just map to //filername/etc/quotas and edit the file.

Is there a way to configure quotas taking into account i have root on netapp controler but no admin rights on the domain for vFiler ?

Kind Regards

hi,

in general, you can use "wrfile" cmd to edit that file which is located in /vol/vfiler_root_volume/etc/.

below kb might be helpful
