Hello gurus,
One of client storage FAS 2552 aggregate shows 99% and we have moved some volumes to other aggregate now. This is old storage and what is the recommended approach by netapp in order to increase aggregate space.
Can we remove few disks and put high capacity disks in it and form a new aggr ? What is recommended practise in this case
Disk details
00.0 to 00.3 --> 381.3GB 520B/sect
00.4 to 00.23 -- > 1142.3GB 520B/sect

0-3 are probably SSDs drives correct?
But not really, if you replace with larger disks, they will just right-size when they're added to the aggr. You'll need to add a shelf with some disks.
You can also see if storage efficiencies are not enabled (i.e. dedupe) and enabled them to see if space can be reclaimed.

hello:
If you have enough hot spare disks in your system, you can add disks to the aggregation to increase space, or you can do data cleaning and add new disks, hopefully to help you
i hope to help you
