You can use SUA, or, if you want to still work within native Windows, the following command for example worked for me on Windows 2008 R2:

 

(Using Perfstat 7)

 

perfstat7.exe -t 1 -i 1 -S -pw:filer_password -l filer_username -f filer_name

 

plink.exe needs to be in the same directory or in the system path

Thank you for sharing your expertise!  The high view count on this post show others were indeed helped by your solid advice.  Currently Perfstat 8.3 has been released and provides a GUI option and a few methods to aid in the configuration and running of the Perfstat.  It is in the Utility Toolchest on the NetApp support site.
