Hi, All
We are considering data migration with ndmpcopy (Filer to Filer).
The customer currently use snapvault in ther site.
Does ndmpcopy affect the maximum number of simultaneous replication?
I'd appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Makoto

Hi,
ndmpcopy is based on point in copy snapshots. like, when you want to transfer the volume\qtree to a secondary filer, it takes an snapshot at that particular moment on source filer and starts transferring the data to the secondary filer. when finished, it deletes the snapshot from primary filer.
This is a good tool wherein your data along with ACLs are transferred to the secondary filer.

Thank you for replying.
I've checked the maximum number of concurrent replication operations such as volcopy, snapmirror, and snapvault.
But I couldn't find the number of ndmpcopy.
I'm affraid that multi ndmpcopy operations could avoid the existing snapvault schedule because of reaching the limit of maximum replication operations.
Is there any documents or imformation related with that?
