I turned sis on a volume to test the deduplication effects a while back. Now, I have disabled sis on the volume and need to grow it past the sis 1TB limit on my FAS2020.
Even though sis is disabled, I am unable to grow it past that limit. Any ideas?
TIA

since you disabled the sis on the volume. enter into priv admin mode & do
undo the sis on the present volume. it will take 2 hrs roughly for undo the de-dupe on the 1 TB
volume.

Thanks very much for both your answers. Entered advanced priv mode and successfully performed "sis undo".
Was then able to grow volume past the 1TB sis limit.

Hi
I have a FAS3020 and a Volume that is very close to the 2TB deduplication limit and need to grow the Volume over 2TB. The problem that I have is that there is not enough free space in the Volume to carry out the sis undo. Is there any way to increase the Volume size so that I can run sis undo and if not, what are my options?
Thanks.
