Hope someone can answe rthis easy question since I am new to this ?

I want to copy a volume to new aggregate and thinking of using snapmirror. I knwo I have to run snapmirror intialise -S first.

What do I do after the completion?

Is that just snapmirror break <destination vol> at detination filer?

or  Do i have to run update prior to break?

Destination volume will be usable after Break whether you update or not..

Yes RATNATHURAI ,

Run update before break will keep that target volume identical as the source vol.

Good luck
