We are running ONTAP version 9.9.1P7. We have been using Sophos, but that product is EOL. We are trying to decide among the remaining vendors- McAfee, Trend Micro, and Symantec. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with any of these? Does anyone have a recommendation for best option?

Hi @ashep
Thanks for participating in our Community Forum.
Hopefully a few customers / partners on this forum might be able to share their experiences. I suspect that it does come down to personal preference in terms of the AV vendor's features, pricing etc. From NetApp's perspective, it's simply down to ensuring you are running support versions of all the involved software.

Sorry for replying to a zombie thread, but we run Trend ServerProtect for Storage. The interface is rather dated, but the product runs pretty well for our CIFS servers.
