vfiler/vif network questions

For the network setup of the primary vfiler, does it have to be in the same  network VLAN of the vfiler secondary to setup vfiler DR? (assuming i want to migrate the ipspaces as well)

For link aggregation (multiple mode), does the switch need to  be configured as ether-channeled?

• that answer is yes.

The same ipspace name must exist on the target to match the source.  But it doesn't have to be the same network.. when you configure vfiler dr, you can bind to any interface that is assigned to the ipspace name that matches the ipspace on the source.
