2TB SATA Capacity Info

I am looking for information concerning the 2TB SATA drives for a potential customer quote. I realize the drives are not available as of yet but wanted to be able to provide capacity forecast in advance if possible. The information required is:

1) raw capacity

2) right size capacity

3) usable capacity

Hi,

Personally I'd use Synergy numbers for 1TB drives and just double them. From disk vendor specs it looks like 2TB drive has twice as much space as 1TB one, so this should be about right.

Attached slide shows some manual calculations, but actually Synergy gives slightly lower figures for 1TB drive (for whatever reason).
