I am using a simulator running 9.12.1P11 to test the new snapshot copy locking feature (without SnapLock). It works in general, however I've run into an issue with making it work in the SnapCenter environment. We use a custom role for SnapCenter to give it the least required privileges. I need to modify the role to give it the appropriate permissions for snapshot copy locking, but I can't seem to make it work. I have a case open with NetApp, and they successfully tested a modified custom role on a standard NetApp cluster, but the same role isn't working on the simulator. This makes us wonder if there's some limitation in the simulator for either the locking feature or the custom role feature? Any ideas?
