After I searched in the Data Ontap 8.1.2 Simulator license file "vsim_licenses_812.txt", I found the FCP license, so does this mean Data Ontap 8.1.2 Simulator could serve as FCoE Target? Thanks!
With FCoE just the transport layer changes, so you would still need a FC target-port which the simulator can't provide. Therefore still no FCP/FCoE with vsims as the license-file mentions (Works but does not provide much functionality)
