How to create cluster in simulator

Hi Arun,

You need to run the setup script where it will ask the following

Where to install to? [/]: <ur path>
Would you like to install as a cluster? [no]:

Say yes for the above setup option and continue with the installation

Now you will find node1 & node2 simulators installed in the above given path. Install cluster license.

Run the setup script for each node and configure the interface which needs to take over a partner IP address during failover.

After reboot (mandatory since cluster is licensed) just enable cluster from the CLI.

Thanks

Daniel

If you want to run a two node cluster you need to change the serial of the second node otherwise you get stuck with the licenses as they are serial bound now.

Here's a link how  http://www.cosonok.com/2013/05/netapp-simulator-for-clustered-ontap-82.html

Cheers,
