I am attempting to setup two NetApp clusters with two nodes each using the 9.7 simulator and peer them to do SnapMirror. I get an error stating that I cannot peer two systems with the same UUID. I changed the second node serial number with the setenv SYS_SERIAL_NUM 4034389-06-2 and setenv bootarg.nvram.sysid commands, but the license provided with the simulator only has two serial numbers I can use and I need four apparently.
Does anyone know how to get around this?

Hi,
Can you share the exact command that you used to peer clusters? Check the Cluster UUIDs of each of the cluster using the following command from the Cluster prompt - ::> cluster identity show (Admin privileges, diagnostics reveal more details). However, the cluster UUID cannot be modified from cluster prompt since it's set at the time of creation. Try checking if there's an option at the loader prompt and use the following format:
setenv bootarg.mgwd.cluster_uuid XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I tried to change the uuid, but without this option, can not change, it can change the cluster name, which is set when the cluster is created.
