Upgrade Simulator 8.0.1 to 8.1.0?

I found a question from Oct. 2010 regarding this topic and I'm wondering if the necessary changes have been made to accomplish this yet.

I have the same question in mind... this has been posted over and again but no answer to it... i belive Simulator's cant be upgraded !!!

Not unless NetApp posts the image specific to the vsim. Internal NetApp users have access to the builds but not external for us yet. It updates the same as a physical controller if you can get the image file.
