API for Disk Drive & Firmware Updates

Hi all,

I'm looking to automate the download and update for Disk Firmware updates. Is there an api available to grab firmware revisions and download links from?

I am not aware of any API call to automate the update of firmware but Ansible may provide the functionality you need.

Active IQ's API can help you determine which systems need a firmware update and then generate a custom Ansible playbook for you. See the documentation here:

Please note: You need a certain support contract level to access the custom Ansible scripts (Advisor, Expert, or the Active IQ uplift support add-on).
