Increase size of VMDK or disks on 8.1 simulator?

I need to setup an 8.1 simulator with 100GB of space.  The included vmdk is ~40GB.  Is there a way I can grow this, or add an addition 60GB VMDK? So I can add type 33 disks?

If you follow the link to the blog post there, you will find e.g. this:

"You need to increase the VM disk size and then extend the partitions and also slices within the simulator to take advantage of the increased VM disk space."
