What is the command to forcibly change the volume id?

What command is used to forcibly change the volume id.  SnapDrive does this, however, we can't figure out how to accomplish this manaully.  If nobody knows the command, does anyone know which api is being called when SnapDrive does this?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Given the snapdrive reference I'll take it you meant the 'LUN ID' ?

It's the 'lun modify' command with the '-serial' parameter.
