1.5TB & 2TB SATA Drive - when will the be supported ?

For a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) comparision for the next Years, it would be interresting to know

when 1.5TB  &  2TB SATA Drive will the be supported ?

When 600GB SAS drives will be introduced? (10k & 15k flavours)

@Johann: Dont expect 1,5 & 2TB drives unless ONTAP 8 is at least somewhat production ready as the aggregate limit of currently 16TB would result in about 8 or 9 Data 2 TB data drives which would significantly affect the performance

Smallest ONTAP 8 capable systems (FAS2040 & FAS3140) will have 40TB aggregate limit which results in over 20 data 2 TB disks (we already tested it with a 17TB vmware datastore in our testlab using 8 RC 1 ;-).

As for 600GB SAS drives, expect them in 15k flavor only, anytime soon possibly.
