All storage controllers are not shown in VSC provisioning

Hi,

We have several storage systems (FAS2240, FAS3250, FAS3170). We can add them in overview section. But only the 2 firsts controllers are shown in Provisioning section. Is there a problem ? Is there a way to get all the controllers in Provisioning.

Hi Clocatel,

It looks like the ONTAP 8.1.4 filers are the ones showing up and the ONTAP 8.2 filers are the ones missing. I've seen similar situations when an older version of VSC is being used which didn't have support for a specific version of ONTAP added yet.

What version of VSC are you using?

We are using the last official version : VSC 4.2.1.

On an other site, we installed VSC 4.2.1 and a FAS 3250 with Data Ontap 8.2. The FAS 3250 is in the Provisioning & cloning Tab.

In fact, we have 3 vCenters with VSC 4.2.1, and we never have more than 2 controllers in the provisoning & cloning TAB. It's always  2 controllers of an HA Pair. Sometimes it's 8.1.4, sometime 8.2.

I'm asking myself if Provisoning & Cloning tab doesn't take only the first registred HA pair. Does someone have more than 2 controllers in Provisioning & Cloning section ?

There is a patch for a problem due to licenses that are not enabled.
