NFS vFilers + VMWare SRM - when?

What I've heard (informally) is sometime before end of 2Q09.

Having asked this question of people at multiple large companies I haven't heard any firm commitments though....

I am personally hoping for an earlier date, i.e. still in 2009. This all hinges (apparently) on SRM 2.0 release, which is important for many folks for a number of reasons (vSphere 4 support being probably the key one).

Hi,

The focus for SRM is on vSphere (esx v4). When the development of this version is complete, they will work again on SRM for esx 3.x (which is a seperated version).

SRM for vSphere is expected this year. SRM for esx v3.x will come later
