The password used to access the storage controllers configured in the VSC (2.01P1) was changed on the filers. I updated the credentials for the storage controllers but still have been unable to use any of the VSC funtionality except Storage Discovery.
The following message is displayed: Unable to build the filer list due to error: loadLicenses failed.

If you right-click the controller in the table, you can select to update the credentials. Otherwise it will use the last known credentials you added the filer with.

I updated the credentials, it verifies them and then says it is saving the configuration but it still fails when trying to access provisioning, cloning functions.

I believe this was fixed in VSC 2.1. If you don't upgrade, you could always remove and re-add the controller.

Hello guys, I am having a similar issue. The provisioning and cloning tab crashes with message "Unable to get the list of filers: Failed to load the storage controllers from file". And there were no password changes... VSC is 2.1 here.
Any thoughts?
Regards,
Pedro.

Anything interesting in the filer logs? Looks like it's failing when getting info about filer licences.
