Hi,
I have a client with vSphere 4.1. I've set up the vCenter on Windows 2K8 64-Bit. I've installed VSC 2.1.1 on the vCenter Server, but when put the url (https://localhost:8142/Register.html) in the browser, it tells me the location cannot be reached. I therefore can't register VSC with the vCenter.
I've tried disabling the firewall and the AV, but still no joy. I've had a look at the event viewer but don't see any errors/warnings.
Anyone encountered this problem before? Would appreciate some help.

Solved. Uninstalled & Re-installed, but used "run as administrator" on the setup file.
Thanks.
Frank;
The correct URL is : https://localhost:8143/Register.html
If you want to access the URL from other hosts rather than VSC itself please use the VSC server ip address instead of localhost.
Also the default port is 8143
Hi arash,
Thanks for the response. I have actually been using https://localhost:8143/Register.html, I just mistyped it on my original post. I still cant access it whether on the vCenter server or another host. Does VSC have a log file that I could look at for errors?
Frank;
You should find out something like this in the wrapper.log under the VSC installation directories.
[ INFO] SERVER-01102: Jetty server has started at port 8143.
Solved. Uninstalled & Re-installed, but used "run as administrator" on the setup file.
