installing OnCommand Host agent for VMware never completes 9 seconds remaining

hi installing On command host agent v 1.3 on VMware 5.1  VC server,  on OC 5.2

the install goes all the way through then sits there with activity box saying 9 or 12 seconds remaining, it never completes.

seem to remember seeing something in the past about a background service that is locking it and stopping it from completing but can no longer find it.

any ideas

Open task manager find the cmd#32.exe running from the account you are logged in as and end the process.

not the ones running under system account.

this issue happens under v1.2 and 1.3 host agent
