cshannahan - Sounds like you have two errors here. First is that due to DNS and/or firewall policy the SANtricity server can't reach NetApp support to post the ASUP messages: 'Event Message: An ASUP message could not be delivered from the SANtricity management station ALPGPDWSANMGT01 to NetApp ASUP https gateway https://support.netapp.com/put/AsupPut/.' Ensure that the host can resolve 'support.netapp.com. and can reach it on port 443. Second is that SANtricity server can't send the emails to you. Ensure that the configured email server will accept relay email from the SANtricity server. I hope this response has been helpful to you. At your service, Eugene E. Anand - StorageGrid is a passion for me, so I took notice of your post. I found no TR docs with BCPs. It seems our best references are the StorageGrid docs. As an AWS fan I found your reference to the AWS doc very interesting. I'm currently working on developement of an AltaVault course witch includes AWS and StorageGrid as cloud stores. Darraghos - Yes, this is common practice. There is a NetApp DSM that may be used for Windows. I've had many customers do head to head testing and found no performance change between the two DSMs. This goes back to the old 7-mode days. You should have no worries here. Lawrence - There's no implementaion of ifgrps or LACP on virtual switches for VMs that I know of. (I did go searching on the subject to see what I might find.) There is an implementation for ESX physical hosts. The linked KB does describe how to implement VLAN tagging on virtual switches. There's also a pdf you may want to read - http://www.vmware.com/pdf/esx3_vlan_wp.pdf VLAN tagging in virtual infrastructure is very common - we do it in FLEXPOD and other environs regularly.
