I know that an assure license is required to register the data source of the fc switch. Is it right?

If so, is there any way to monitor without an assure license?

Hello,   the assure license is not required to discover the San Switch Datasources.  Assure licensing is primarily required for understanding the risks and vulnerabilities in FC mapping, Masking and zoning details as well as some other metrics such as fan out ratios,  hop counts etc.  To discover your SAN switches, you require the Discover license (the base license), and one other license like Perform, Plan or Assure.
