Satya,

The process to migrate DFM from one server to another is actually fairly straight-forward and is covered in the Installation and Upgrade guide

Migrating the DataFabric Manager data to a different location, Page 30 (for 3.6)

Migrating the DataFabric Manager data to a different location, Page 32 (for 3.7)

One question I have is, any particular reason you're looking to upgrade to 3.6R2 instead of to 3.7? as there are a number of enhancements available in the 3.7 release.

Thanks, and hopefully this helps!

Look forward to hearing from you,

Christopher

If I were in your exact position I would do the following:

dfm database get (This way I can see what data set it is reporting)

dfm backup create (To see if it generates the back, I've had it need to be kicked off manually)

Worst case, you might be looking at some data corruption, in which case you might be looking at reloading your database.

Lets see if this helps before going down paths like that.
