I recall that a government department or agency that did a packet analysis of the AutoSupport feature on the NetApp and found its security implications to be benign or acceptable. I have been unable to locate anything that pertains to the general topic of data exchange and ASUP and would appreciate any information pertinent to this topic.
A long time customer is interested in enablement but requires some assurances of the implications involveed with AutoSupp.
