Some more FAQs about autosupport messages and their storage at NetApp


I have a customer who would like to know the following about the handling of the autosupport messages that they send in to NetApp.  Any of your best references to where the answers can be found would be helpful as well.  Thank you.

What exactly is in an autosupport message (I have found answers to this one but a more recent answer would be helpful)

How long does NetApp keep asup messages?

How are asup messages stored at NetApp?

Who has access to asups that the customer sends in?

Are asup messages stored encrypted at NetApp?

etc? etc? security?

Obviously the customer is concerned about information security so any sorts of documentation to this end would be appreciated greatly.  Thank you.
