Broken Aggregate in fas3040

how can i rebuild a failed aggregate on fas3040 ?

Hi there!

If the aggregate is broken due to disks failing, generally you have to create a new aggregate and restore from backup. "aggr offline" and "aggr destroy" are the starting points.

You can try to unfail the broken disks, using instructions in this post - https://community.netapp.com/t5/FAS-and-V-Series-Storage-Systems-Discussions/Failed-Disk-Problem/td-p/58162 but frequently it is a terminal problem.
