Adaptive read ahead caching?

Hi,

is there is any way(measure) "adaptive read ahead caching" in action on per LUN/FlexVol basis ? I'm not trying to solve any particular problem - just interested in internals.

Is that as easy as verfing this from statit?

     24.21 blocks read                    1474.05 blocks read-ahead
    158.97 chains read-ahead                18.06 dummy reads
    881.18 blocks speculative read-ahead   7345.70 blocks written

You can try to disable read-ahead via "vol options <volname> minra off" in "advanced" mode and test your volume / LUN performance.
