Is there a setting that allows all new volumes to be encrypted? Like a global setting that allows me to switch it on, rather than ensuring that each new volume has the -encrypted true attribute appended to the end of every volume create command?
Thanks

Good to hear.
I am kind of wondering why I couldn't find "bootarg.softwareencryption.encryptallvol=true" in the ONTAP9 document center though. Maybe someone from NetApp will link to the actual docs.
