Cluster: Creating additional Volume from different Aggregate | Node

Hello Experts,

I need assistance and hopefully to gain best practices on my concern. Have  a look at this:

 

Given:

Existing Volume Setup :

SVM1 , Node1, Aggr1 , Node1, = existing Vol1 for  General cluster .

 

Required:

Would lie to know if its possible to create a new volume (Vol2) as additional volume for General Cluster? My Aggr1 is almost full so I was thinking to use different aggregate (Aggr2) but currently located in another node.  Though I'm still going to use same SVM and Cluster.

 

SVM1, Node2, Aggr2= New Vol2 as additional volume for  General cluster 

 

 

Please check and advise.

SVMs can own volumes on any aggregate in the cluster.

Note that creating a data lif for SVM1 on node2 will be recommended.

Hi, Thanks for your input. so its going to be with Two (2) LIF once a new data LIF created. See sample below:
