Cluster Mode SNMP Monitoring SnapMirror Lag

Hello,

i'm trying to monitor the snapmirror relationship lagtime with a snmp monitoring-tool. While setting up the configuration, i discovered to use following OID:

snapmirror rel lag
1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.29.1.1.7

When i'm executing a snmpwalk against this OID, i'm getting back every single snapmirror relationship with the actuall lagtime:

----------------------- New Test -----------------------
Paessler SNMP Tester 5.1.3
07.01.2015 16:14:02 (1 ms) : Device: xx.xx.xx.xx
07.01.2015 16:14:02 (1 ms) : SNMP V2c
07.01.2015 16:14:02 (1 ms) : Walk 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.29.1.1.7
07.01.2015 16:14:02 (274 ms) : 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.29.1.1.7.4 = "7913500"
07.01.2015 16:14:03 (555 ms) : 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.29.1.1.7.5 = "7913500"
07.01.2015 16:14:03 (839 ms) : 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.29.1.1.7.6 = "7913600"
...

But when i try to get the lagtime for only one snapmirror relationship and use the unique OID "1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.29.1.1.7.4 ", i'm receiving follwoing error:

----------------------- New Test -----------------------
Paessler SNMP Tester 5.1.3
07.01.2015 16:56:33 (7 ms) : Device: xx.xx.xx.xx
07.01.2015 16:56:33 (10 ms) : SNMP V2c
07.01.2015 16:56:33 (13 ms) : Custom OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.29.1.1.7.4
07.01.2015 16:56:33 (28 ms) : -------
07.01.2015 16:56:33 (32 ms) : Value: No such instance (SNMP error # 223)
07.01.2015 16:56:33 (35 ms) : Done

Is this a known issue or normal?

Thank you!

Hey Karl,

We have been using a cheap application that collects tons of perfomance data. There are 100's of metrics and this tool grabs most of them. Check out Arxscan.com
