Effective December 3, NetApp adopts Microsoft’s Business-to-Customer (B2C) identity management to simplify and provide secure access to NetApp resources.
For accounts that did not pre-register (prior to Dec 3), access to your NetApp data may take up to 1 hour as your legacy NSS ID is synchronized to the new B2C identity.

Cutting over iSCSI and FC LUNs between filers

malvinmunyaradzi

I need to cutover from one FAS2240-2 to FAS2552 using SnapMirror to transfer the data. Using OnTap 8.2.3 7-Mode.
Can someone advise on the right way to migrate iSCSI and FC LUNs between filers?
iSCSI LUNS are on Windows and Linux servers and FC LUNS are on AIX server.

Hello Anoop

Thank you for you help but I am currently coping data across using snapmirror.

What I am relly concerned with is after coping data across, when I boot the new Filer will the servers see the luns without formating them?

Will the servers see the storage as they used to do on the old filer without any issues?

Regards

Malvin
