Hey c-mode starts from DOT 8 onwards.
DOT 7 just has 7-mode alone.
In DOT 8 for customer benifit you have both c-mode as well as 7-mode to start with (i.e you will have 2 images)
The future is however c-mode.

8.x 7-Mode: Present (FAS22XX/FAS32XX/FAS62XX)
8.x C-Mode: Future (FAS2XXX/FAS3XXX/FAS6XXX)
