Disable quota messages for a special volume

Hi,

i have a question regarding the syslog deamon. Is it posibble to disable warnings and errors about quotas on a single volume?

The background is that we have several volumes with user home folders with quotas on, but we don't wont to be noticed if one of these quotas is in warning or error state. But we do want to get a warning on other volumes on that filer (Ontap 7.2.7).

As far as i understood the syslog.conf file, it is only possible to change the syslog behavoir on filer level, is that right?

Try command "quota logmsg". Although not sure its present in 7.2.

thanks for your helpfull answer, this eleminated the entries in the messages file. But i still have all the error messages in the Operations Manager. Does anyone know if i can disable quota alerts for a specific volume in the operations manager?

An easy way is just to set the quota thresholds for that volume to 101% in Ops Manager...

As far as i can see, this is only possible for User Quotas. Right? All our qutoas are Tree Qoutas.
