Hi All,

We are going to connect 10Gb ethernet NIC to Nexus 5k FCoE port for FCoE connection replacing FC target in existing SVM of FAS6220. How to configure new FCoE port in existing SVM where already four FC port are configured as target. Kindly provide the steps.

How to configure these new ports in SVM? Do we need to migrate the existing LIFs from old FC ports to new 10Gb FCoE ports? It should be without downtime or minimum effect...

And also is there any possibilities for teaming? so that we will get double speed.

Storage:- V6220 CDOT 8.2.1

one way to do this is by creating a new SAN lif on the newly added ports, do necessary zoning and other configuration steps, and rescan from the host to see the new paths to the LUNs. Then you can remove the old ports/LIFs and let the Multipathing software take care of the rest.
