How to find LUN used space from ONTAP

Hi,

Environment having many thin provisioned LUNs (Linux) assigned to ORACLE RAC.

How can I find the LUN space usage information accurately from storage?

I do not want to involve DBA/host admin to find this information; how can I find this from storage/ONTAP CLI? Thanks in advance

Hi ,

Are you sure that  lun show -m and lun show -v can give the lun used space on the storage side .

lun show -m  -----  lun mapping details to igroup

lun show -v  -- detailed status of lun

can get some estimated used information  using the  "df -g volume name"   if only one lun is provisioned on that volume .

LUN show -v displays size, occupied by LUN, at least on recent enough DataONTAP.
