Hi,
I have a problem with a volume on which snapshots are always made without that I want that.
The scheduled snapshots is disabled but the snapshots are still made.
Did I have the opportunity to see where they are created?
Thank you for your help.

Andi

Hi,
Maybe snapvault volume?
>snapvault snap sched sqlvol01
You can also try to turn nosnap off, create a schedule for that volume and view does it react newly mabe schedule, and does those unwanted snapshots still appear additionally.
After the test, turn nosnap back to on no matter what the result was, maybe just a "reset" help.

Hi,
Could you try this command
vol options <vol name> nosnap on
This should make the volume create further snapshots.

This option is already on.
But snapshots are created...
output of vol status:
sqlvol01 online raid_dp, flex nosnap=on, create_ucode=on,
convert_ucode=on,
maxdirsize=20971,
fractional_reserve=0

Hi,
I turn nosnap off, create a schedule for that volume, waited a day. Then I turn nosnap back to on and now I get no snapshots created.
Thank you very much for your help.
