Will splitting a FlexClone cause high CPU / DISK usage?

Hi,

I am new to NetApp technologies & came across this licensed feature "FlexClone"

What concerns me is that, what type of resources is needed from a filer when a split occurs for FlexClone.

Regards,

Chris

Hi

yes. splitting do require resources. but you cna stop it if you see an impact.

it is running on a low priority scanner process. so very unlikely to impact users.
