snapmirror schedule

I'm not much familiar with snapmirror schedule process. Currently in my environment snapmirror.conf is setup like the below.

"connection_mode=inet - - - -" as per this setup I believe that it just has an entry in snapmirror.conf file and snapmirror has to be updated manully (it doesn't have any auto schedule), is that correct ??

sdusdcxxo0x> rdfile /etc/snapmirror.conf

sdusdcxxsto02:/vol/bk_sdusdcxxxsto01vol12p2/bk_dc2mgmtsplqa01 connection_mode=inet - - - -

From snapmirror status, I see the Lag for them around 307:38:23 and 307:35:01 ...

For Prod, I have same kind of setup as above with "connection_mode=inet - - - -" but, Snapmirror updates daily for the volumes specified in the snapmirror.conf file. Just wondering when there is no schedule specified in the snapmirror.conf file how it is scheduling everyday??

Can some one please answer on these.

Thanks,

Reddy

Saanvi -

Yes, - - - - - is a blank schedule.

The the scheduled mirror updates are being triggered externally, by a backup application, me thinks.

Look at your audit logs to determine where that's coming from ...

I hope this response has been helpful to you.
