Did someone tried to connect FAS series to V-Series? I know that this is officially unsupported, but practically I believe such configuration should work.
We had hp eva in back of a v-series and it sucked, so we converted it all to FAS disk. Just don't try to remove the vseries license, and it will still be a vseries with fas disk. And my configuration was supported
I believe your case is different. I need to connect FAS controller as backend storage to V-Series. Disk shelves will be connected to FAS series, not V-Series.
