Hi, currently re-building my lab and decided to go for the latest and greatest.
Servers
DC Vmware hardware version 10
VS Vmware hardware version 10
Admin Vmware hardware version 10
all using OS = 2012R2 64 bit
Built VMs on workstation 10.0.2 build 1744117 (just downloading 10.0.3 as I type)
DNS seems good I am able to do lookup and reverse for all
ESX HV 5.1.0 799733
and 1 5.5.0 u2
I have a vyatta virtual route with interface on vmnets
I want to implement iscsi as this is our setup at work.
Installed the netapp VSC 5.5 into vsphere 5.5 all looks good. goto the main plugin on the home page and added the storage system, yes it's there, showing as simbox all normal storage capacity showing and allowed privileges.
Thinking yes all is good.
Then I go and try and add the esx hosts, click on hosts nothing showing, ok thats expected but there is no add button.
Ok back to vsphere home page, click osts and clusters drill down and hosts showing as connected (warning because I have ssh enabled but thats by th by)
click on a host, vmkernal for iscsi showing ok identifer as expected.
Go into related objects - netap storage system tab is there. click on add. Enter all the details as you do.....
Click Ok, a pop comes up with privileges, click ok
Pop up filer added susccesfully, going to do disovery, may take a few minutes, click ok
goes off and discovers - nothing
